UPSCALE!
A UNCG Student Exhibition
October 31 - November 4, 2023
More About UPSCALE!
This show brings together oversize sculptures in cardboard depicting objects from daily life from Assistant Professor Kasia Ozga's Fall 2023 ART 150 Three-Dimensional Foundations class AND miniature maquettes constructed by students for Professor Mariam Stephan's Art 322 Variable Topics: Drawing In The Landscape class. Foundations students worked with partners to cut and shape cardboard to precise dimensions, reproducing everything from vintage video game consoles to keys, phones, lighters, and more! Advanced drawing students built a little world from which to draw, using objects and scale as an entry point for understanding and exploring space in 2 dimensions! Used cardboard for the project was donated by UNCG Surplus!
