More About Desirable Wait Residency
This two-week residency at GPS will be used as a work session. It is the first residency of about 6 (from various organizations) that will help me develop, and work toward the completion of an evening-length, dance-based, interdisciplinary work rooted in ecofeminism, entitled Desirable Wait. The work seeks to show the linkages in the way we treat the earth and the way we treat women. At its core, Desirable Wait asks: How can we honor the earth’s power and wisdom and explore the sensual potential of patience?
