More About Athena
My name is Athena Fenstermacher and I am an artist whose passions lie in bold and innovative designs that pull from a myriad of references from various forms of Media Pop-Culture, and personal experience. Art is an integral part of my life and creating in a myriad of mediums and expressions is my life’s passion. I’m currently pursuing my BFA in New Media & Design at UNCG and interning at Greensboro Project Space for the Spring semester. Threads of Time came out of an exciting opportunity to create and curate a show with my fellow Greensboro Project Space intern Steven Parker. Threads of Time was born out of the desire to honor and showcase mature creatives and artists, and give them an opportunity to celebrate and display their works in a gallery space!
More About Steven
My name is Steven Parker and I'm an artist whose goal is to create art that not only inspires and engages but also tells a story about the human experience. Through the textures, shapes, and forms that I create, I hope to convey the beauty and complexity of life, highlighting both its fragility and its incredible resilience. Through my art, I aim to convey how I see myself, how others see me, and who I am as a person. Threads of Time was inspired by my own personal experience and work with Creative Aging Network and my desire to have equal opportunity for all artists, regardless of age, in a gallery setting.
