Summer 2021
Sarah Chen is in her senior year at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, pursuing a BFA degree with a concentration in photography. Her work focuses primarily on the North Carolina landscape.
Tyler Rubio is a senior at UNCG finishing his bachelor of fine arts degree in studio art with a photography concentration. He has been practicing digital photography since 2014, mostly focusing on surrealist portraiture while taking breaks along the way to explore other subject matters. He is drawn to photography because of its broad capabilities in capturing and sometimes shaping the truth. He finds it an efficient way to interact with the world while simultaneously leaving room for personal expression.
Second Stop is an opportunity for student exhibitions to travel from Greensboro Project Space’s downtown location to the UNCG campus. The current Second Stop exhibition, by Tyler Rubio and Sarah Chen, is now on view in the Dean’s Office for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, which is located in the School of Music Building (Room 220).
Are you a staff or faculty member at UNCG who would like your office or department to participate in Second Stop? Let us know! Email greensboroprojectspace@gmail.com.
