Sugarfoote Productions in association with the UNCG School of Dance presents the 4th annual GREENSBORO DANCE FILM FESTIVAL (GDFF) across 3 different locations. Associate Professor Robin Gee hosts the 4rd Annual Greensboro Dance Film Festival in locations around the city. The festival, the first of its kind to reside in Greensboro, features international dance films representing 13 countries in both student and professional categories. The event will also feature a live dance performance and an array of experimental works. The festival will also feature a screening of student films from the Dance our Stories community outreach project in collaboration with the NC Dance Project.. This year the festival has also collaborated with The NC Dance Project Professor of and is working with the Moorhead Elementary School in a community based dance on camera project with Moorehead 5th graders.
GDFF is a boutique dance film festival seeking to connect diverse populations and environments through the innovative genre of dance on screen. Merging performance and cinematic aesthetics, Screen Dance has expanded the possibilities of choreographic composition and structure by pushing the boundaries of dance beyond its staged possibilities.The festival uses the background of both city and country to highlight dance films from around the world and support artists through interdisciplinary collaboration and creative exchange.

The Greensboro Dance Film Festival will also be part of the Burning Bell Festival from 4pm - 9pm which celebrates the food, art, music, and culture of the south end district of Downtown Greensboro.
