Fire and Beer :
Crafting Histories of Women, Ceramics, and Brewing
An exhibition of Zulu and North Carolinian ceramic beer vessels. This exhibition brings together the research of UNCG scholars from the School of Art and the UNCG Libraries on histories of women, entrepreneurship and beer. The ceramic vessels featured remind us that, on both sides of the Atlantic, beer has been an important part of food culture, but also a domain of women prior to industrial brewing. We hope you will join us to celebrate the innovation and artistry of beer vessels and beer brewing.
